The King's Royal Emissary Front, abbreviated '''''KREF''''', is the special elite warrior forces selected by King Kyðeon himself as trusted allies in the defense of the [[Urdai Sinwal]] against intruders and for monitoring espionage by [[The Enemy|Eldanoth]].

It was created during the time of the [[Ulon-Zirak]] as one of Kyðeon's first orders, and he has kept members of very low numbers in it. Each agent knows no more than three other agents, and each agent reports directly to King Kyðeon himself. This serves to hide the size and scope of the operations.

Kyðeon selects these agents in secret, and negotiates their post for a reward to their current masters or leaders, typically in political power or even gold. Each are tasked with a specific command set they are to execute, and never to discuss or disclose to anyone other than a co-informed agent who stood with them in front of Kyðeon to receive the command. Kyðeon never demands their loyalty to himself, but rather, to the elvish peoples, and to the forest of the Urdai Sinwal. As such, each agent is referred to a "leaf" "one of Kyðeon's leaves at the edge of the forest" which is a code word one agent uses with another to identify possible agents in proximity.

As such, the two members [[[The Party]] knows of are [[Udoros Woodsoul]] and [[Tanis Redblade]], selected for their incredible hunting and tracking skills. While Udoros' skills are somewhat better, Tanis' skills are effective at getting them out of the trouble that Udoros may have tracked them into. Kyðeon recognized their friendship, and their loyalty to each other is precisely the sort of loyalty Kyðeon needed to forge trust between the elves of [[Sarapadia]].
