Kral Zagan was the leader of the Assassin's Guild in Vesuva.

Early Life

Very little is known about Zagan before his rise to power. One such item known is at some point he struck an infernal bargain with the fiend Eldanoth in order to gain access to the powers of a warlock. Additionally it was discovered that at some point in his younger days (after receiving his powers) he fathered a son. This child of his came to be one of the heroes of our story, Omen.

Rise to Power

At one time he was the chief lieutenant in the guild underneath its previous leader Virius Mercer. Upon Mercer's assassination at the hands of The Party Zagan assumed the role of guildmaster. Upon assuming his new role he elevated his comarade Cho Chupta to the roll of chief lieutenant. Zagan believed his base of power was strong enough that his guild could control the entire Northeast Quadrant completely. He attempted to force out all representation of the city guard from the quadrant and assert his ownership of it as a newly formed separate entity from the rest of the city entirely.

Fall from Power and Death

As his reputation and the complaints of lawlessness in and around the Northeast Quadrant grew he drew the attention of the Lady of Light, Cathartic. She approached The Party about helping her to rid the city of this menace. The adventurers forced their way into the Quadrant where they confronted Zagan and Cho Chupta in the central courtyard. Zagan attempted to sway Omen to join him, but failed. Eventually discussion ceased and combat ensued. Zagan and Chupta were defeated, and the final blow, killing him, came at the hands of Omen.
