Middle brother of Maecas and Roannin. Of the three brothers, Baelus was the most skilled in politics. He was careful with his words, and his intents were not always clear. He is the only of the three brothers to still reside in the Eastern Kingdom, with Roannin being executed and Maecas being banished. He is currently the Herald of Pertwyn, Steward of the Eastern Kingdom. Baelus encountered the party when they journeyed to the Eastern Kingdom. He did the party the kindness of allowing Laima to leave, as she is technically still wanted for her failure to protect Galen and Marah 70 years ago.
