Backstory
Laima Hjálmfriður is an elven paladin who has sworn an Oath to the Ancients. She was a guardian of the Enchantress Marah but was captured during an ambush while journeying to the portal at the North Sea Cave. There she was imprisoned by Eldanoth, who psychologically tortured her and kept her but barely alive. After seventy years in captivity, she was rescued by a group of adventurers, including Marah’s daughter, Rheya.
Auras
An aura emanates from Laima, bestowing friendly creatures within 10' of her the following blessings:
- Aura of Protection
- Gain a bonus to saving throws equal to Laima's Charisma modifier.
- Aura of Courage
- Cannot be frightened.
Special Abilities
- Aegis of Bahamut
- Once per day, Laima or any of her allies within 30’ feet may reroll a failed saving throw. She must take a long rest to restore the ability.

- Laima's melee strikes are suffused with righteous might and deal an additional 1d8 radiant damage. She may choose to expend a first level spell slot to increase the damage by +2d8 damage and an additional 1d8 damage for each level above first. If the creature is undead or a fiend, the damage is also increased by 1d8. Effects may cumulate up to no more than 5d8 radiant damage.
