The Seed of Pride, about the size of a small fist, and nearly spherical in shape, this provides some sort of "black dragon power" to Gnomish-made artifacts.

Dragon Seeds can begin either as Dragon Tears pried from the earth as Dwarves have mined them, or as the tear from a live dragon, which are exceedingly rare and do not easily give up such valuable prizes. These are then forged in a Dragon Forge to produce the right conditions that the Tear becomes a Seed, which can be done with any major elemental force (fire, lightning, usw.) appropriate for the application, or the aspect of the Seed one wished to bring out from the Tear. Additional materials such as magical gold can catalyze the properties and formation in elemental sources if a Dragon Forge isn't available.
